Grant writing

In this homework, you will write up grant proposal for a methods or application of your choice. Your proposal should be no more than 2 pages long, and should include the following sections:

• Specific Aims
• Significance
• Innovation
• Approach
• References

Evidence and AI-use expectations

Name a funder and mechanism (or clearly state that this is a mock mechanism), an intended reviewer audience, and one measurable success criterion per aim. Include a one-paragraph feasibility/risk plan that names a technical risk and an alternative strategy. Cite primary or authoritative sources for factual claims.

You may use an AI agent for outlining, editing, or brainstorming, but not as an uncited source of evidence. Include a brief disclosure of prompts/material assistance and fact-check every externally verifiable claim. Submit the proposal, references, and a one-page reviewer response that anticipates the strongest concern and your response.
